About us...

We are André and Frank, two brothers who share a passion for music and programming that has been with us since our childhood.

It all started in 1984 with our first Commodore C64—a gift that would change our lives forever. Fascinated by the possibilities of this computer, we quickly delved into the world of programming and began developing our own creations.

Soon, we discovered the magic of assembler code, which gave us even more control over the C64. With this knowledge, we created our first "Drumeditor," a music editor for the C64 that transformed the computer's additional two digital voices into a small music studio and even made its way into a specialized magazine. This was followed by a multi-part music programming course in the C64 Magazine, where we shared our knowledge with others.

In game development, we gained attention with the shoot-em-up "Boom" and a technical implementation of a "God-Game" demo on the C64.

Our creative work continued on the Commodore Amiga, where we developed a music player that supported both timestretching and pitchshifting as well as eight voices. With our wavetable synthesizer "S.A.M." (Sample And Manipulate), we created a powerful tool for generating audio samples for the Amiga, capable of producing long samples with minimal information.

Our work expanded to the development of DSP and audio algorithms, as well as a plugin framework for DAWs. This laid the foundation for the development of a sample editor for the PC and the subsequent release of the products AtomicReverb and AtomicTransient, which received widespread acclaim in the field of audio editing.

But of course, we are not resting! With great passion, we continue to work on new products, including standalone audio applications and additional plugins.
